Serialized carton coding/verification: Product of the Day

Serialized carton coding/verification: Product of the Day

The ACE-CT400 Coding & Verification Unit can provide track & trace capabilities as granular as unit-level and accepts cartons ranging in size from 20x20x80mm to 120x80x200mm at a maximum speed of 400 per minute.

Coding on the ACE-CT400 can be performed on either side of a carton, and/or on top.
Positive carton indexing and transportation is assured, as servo-driven belts provide accurate speed management and position control throughout the process.  Laser printing also is available.  Carton rejection is performed via servo-driven reject button; tamper-evident flap seal dispensers can be added as an optional feature.

The ACE-CT400 accomplishes all this while only occupying a small footprint.  The system’s other features include:

  • Stainless steel machine frame and electrical cabinet
  • No pneumatic components
  • Reject verification
  • Unit can be supplied with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley components

The machine is from MG America, Fairfield, NJ, the U.S. subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy. MG2 is a supplier of processing and packaging machinery that includes capsule fillers, cartoners, case packers, thermoformers, pouch fillers, track & trace solutions, powder fillers, capping machines, washing machines, sterilization tunnels, syringe filling, assembling, vial/ampoule filling, palletizers and more.
